AOL SUCKS or WHY AM I ALWAYS LAST TO KNOW?

As of today, October 31, 2008, I no longer have my sprawling 60 page AOL website.

AOL, in their typical dysfunctional way, gave us notice 30 days ago to get all of our files together

b-cuz they are shutting down all AOL Hometown websites. I had mine up since the first year that I got on the Internet, you know, back in the days when AOL was King of the Net! LOL

If I use my somewhat weakened sense of humor about this development, I can actually find it amusing that AOL's powers that be decided to shut our home pages and blogs down on Halloween. I mean, they are the masters of weirdness on the Internet, right? But really, humor aside, this is a very sad day for me so I am using this Blog-Space to vent out my feelings of grief over losing my web site. I also plan to get my own dot.com soon and undergo the tedious job of rebuilding my pages. Sheesh, did I already say that AOL sucks????? LOL

On the up side, it's only a few more days until we get a new president elected, and

it had better be Obama or I just may sell my house and get out of this country! Canada is looking better and better these days. LOL Remember I live in McCain's home state and he is not in good shape, even here in the Valley of the Sun! I mean, please, that old geezer is a loose cannon living on his reputation as a POW in a war that was almost as big of a mistake as the one we started under the current idiot Republican administration. And no, I am NOT a Democrat, so do NOT go there please! I am a registered Independent, and after all the years of BS from both of the main political parties, it feels damned good to NOT be associated with either of them! However, in this case, I heartily implore all of you to vote for Senator Barrack Obama this coming Tuesday! We cannot afford four more years of bad policies in this country! C'mon, you all know that down in the deepest part of your heart & soul, none of you would ever really want Sarah Palin as you president. My God, we would be falling down the rabbit hole for sure if that nightmare ever came to pass, and it is bad enuff that I have felt like Alice for the bigger part of my life.

Can U Believe This?????

I am amazed! I find it hard to believe that Pat Robertson can just open his big yap and threaten asassination and no one seems to react. What the hell is this country coming to? Is it more important that WalMart is having some ludicrous sale than hearing a so-called Christian leader make a mockery of the Christian principles on National TV? YIKES! We are SOOOOO in trouble as a nation! We are losing people everyday in a needless, greedy, self serving war, and we do nothing, as a people, to stop the madness. I am so angry, so saddened, by all that is happening. I love my country but I am failing to understand the apathy of so many of my fellow Americans. Did we learn nothing from the rise and fall of Rome? My God, People, WAKE UP!

Many of Us Are Awake!

This is my first posting! I am very unhappy with the results (fraudulent at best) of the 2004 Presidential election. To put it simply, it sucks! I cannot foresee any good to come from four more years under W's reign. I think what all of "We, the people" who do not care for his dictatorial methods can do is to try and keep the faith and pass on whatever information we can discover, to keep trying to get the truth out to those who wear political blindfolds and follow like sheep to slaughter. These are not happy times for those of us who are awake and aware! I highly suggest to all politically unaware sleepwalkers, ( Meaning those of you who voted for Bush & Chenney) "Wake up and smell the damned coffee!" I realize that I sound intolerant. That's probably because I will no linger tolerate political apathy or ignorance on any front! It is costing this country too much!
